The Executive Health package offers you 100% hospital cover with excess. The excess is payable once per person (either day surgery or overnight stay) in each calendar year. The maximum excess payable per calender year is $500 per person with a maximum of $1000 for family memberships.

Exclusions and Restricted Benefits

The following benefits are not covered under this product:

•  IVF, Surrogacy and any artificial means of conception
•  Obstetrics
•  Coronary artery disease
•  Plastic and cosmetic surgery
•  Hip Replacement
•  Knee Replacement
•  Renal and Peritoneal Dialysis

Benefits for Psychiatric and Rehabilitation services are restricted to those minimum amounts required by Private health insurance (Benefit Requirements) Rules 2008 as amended from time to time.

Private Hospitals with an agreement
If treatment for non excluded services is provided in a Private Hospital with a Druid's Participating Hospital Agreement, after the excess has been paid, no further out of pocket expenses will be incurred.

Private Hospitals with an agreement
If treatment is provided in a Private Hospital without a Druid's Participating Hospital Agreement together with the excess, additional out of pocket expenses may apply. Please check with Druids or the hospital to obtain informed financial consent of your likely costs.

Podiatric Surgery performed by accredited Podiatric Surgeons is excluded from 100% cover and is paid at a lesser rate. Please contact Druids for full details before entering hospital for this type of treatment.

This table also includes rebate for surgically implanted prostheses. Druids will cover you 100% for "no gap prosthesis". However if your provider uses a "gap permitted prosthesis" you may be faced with out of pocket expenses. Please discuss this with your doctors and Druids before you enter hospital for surgery. Hospital in-patient doctors bills attract the standard Medical Gap benefit of 25% of the Commonwealth Medical Benefits Scheduled Fee. Where your doctor is willing to participate in the Simplified Bill process an additional 20% above the Commonwealth Medical Benefits Schedule will be paid for the services provided.
