Druids Privacy Statement
Protecting your privacy and personal information is something we take very seriously at the Druids Friendly Society and this is reflected in how we conduct our business.
Druids has designed its policies to comply with all state and national legislation. In particular the National Privacy Principles.
When dealing with your personal information we give you the following commitments:
- We will only collect information about you with your knowledge and consent.
- We will be fair and open in the way we collect the information, and will only collect information that is actually required in the course of our business when dealing with you.
- We will retain your information in a secure environment. We will only provide information essential to our agents or service providers, for the purpose of conducting our business with you.
- Confidentiality agreements and our Privacy Policies bind all Druids staff, agents and service providers.
- We will not share or sell your information to any third party for marketing purposes. We will not release your information unless required by law to do so.
- You can access the personal information we hold on you at any time and advise us if you believe any information is incomplete, inaccurate or out-of-date.
- Wherever possible we will satisfy your requirements by amending any information that you consider incomplete, inaccurate or out-of-date.
- If you wish you may deal with Druids anonymously wherever practical.
- We will provide you with a copy of our Policy Document if required.
- We will be happy to explain the reasons for collecting information, how we use it and the consequences of not having the information required.
